 Recent labs within the last six months are required prior to any prescription medication. The nurse practitioner will provide you with an order for labs when you book the appointment if necessary. Labs will be done in your local area and results sent directly to us. We are checking for your kidney function, diabetes, basic blood counts and electrolytes to rule out other metabolic disease or hormonal diseases.
